This is the doorway into Reiki. In Level 1, students are attuned to the Reiki energy and learn how to channel it primarily for self-healing and personal balance. The focus is on connecting with universal life force, cleansing the energy body, and learning hand positions for treating oneself and others. Key themes: self-healing, grounding, energy awareness, basic techniques.
